As a Sourcing Specialist, you will drive sourcing and procurement activities, identify and develop suppliers, negotiate contracts, and support strategic sourcing initiatives. You will collaborate across functions and geographies to ensure timely delivery, supplier quality, and cost‑efficient outcomes while contributing to continuous improvements in sourcing processes and supply‑chain performance.
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Raising and managing purchase orders through ERP systems (SAP, Ariba), where applicable.
- Ensuring compliance with company sourcing and procurement policies, acting as a process gatekeeper.
- Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships and monitoring supplier performance.
- Creating bid strategies, managing RFQs, and participating in or leading contract negotiations.
- Driving cost‑out initiatives and delivering measurable savings.
- Maintaining accurate sourcing and procurement data in ERP systems.
- Contributing to sourcing goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines and business objectives.
- Supporting supplier quality activities as part of a broader team.
- Drafting and executing contracts.
- Performing data analysis to support decision‑making.
- Contributing as a team member on sourcing projects.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Bring 3–5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement (Oil & Gas preferred).
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Be proficient in ERP systems such as SAP and Ariba, and in MS Office tools.
- Have excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Be able to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Be highly competent with desktop software and able to interpret data to generate insights.
- Possess strong presentation skills.
