Sales Specialist

The Sales Specialist will drive strategic growth and grow customer relationships across key strategic accounts on the East Coast of Australia. Efforts will be focused on sales and growth within Baker Hughes Cordant’s suite of solutions including asset health, asset strategy and enterprise asset management software.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering the target order numbers and growth within the assigned Territory for Cordant Asset Health Solutions.
- Identifying asset strategy management & integrated asset performance management (APM) opportunities within existing clients.
- Managing complex sales-cycles, which includes our entire Cordant Solutions portfolio of solutions and presenting to buyers, decision makers and influence the value of our digital suite.
- Developing enterprise level relationships and drive strategic partnership, MoU and frame agreements with key stakeholders.
- Building & maintaining a personal level of technical competency related to Bently Nevada Condition Monitoring & protection solutions.
- Assisting country sales leader with developing and executing sales strategies relevant to the market using techno-strategic levers that speak to market desired outcomes and trends
- Supporting proposals / bids, negotiating contracts & ensuring compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk
- Partner with leaders across the organization to develop growth strategies across product offerings with complex and enterprise customers.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution, preferably from engineering and science
- Have experience in industrial solutions sales, software, hardware & services.
- Have good enterprise sales skills – problem identification, discovery, sales process management
- Have familiarity with asset condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Have experience in managing the entire sales cycle particularly in closing complex sales
- Have demonstrated track record of success in meeting & over-achieving sales targets (conversion rates & financial)
- Fluent English speaker with very good oral and written communication skills.
- Be prepared to travel to engage customers in person.
