About The Team:

The Commerce & .COM Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining Autodesk’s global web presence. Our mission is to deliver fast, accessible, and consistent experiences on Autodesk.com for customers worldwide. We are currently solving the challenge of modernizing legacy pages by migrating them to a modern frontend stack and CMS, improving performance, accessibility, and scalability across regions. This work directly impacts how customers discover, evaluate, and engage with Autodesk products.

About The Role:

As an Intern at Autodesk, you will be immersed in driving and owning projects that directly impact our customers, internal teams, and core web platforms. You will work alongside cross-functional teams and mentors, gaining hands-on experience in modern frontend development while continuing to grow your technical and professional skillset.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the migration of legacy Autodesk.com pages to a modern frontend framework and CMS

  • Managing assigned work end-to-end, including understanding requirements, implementation, and validation

  • Partnering with engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality user experiences

  • Ensuring content parity, accessibility, and performance across migrated pages

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program

  • Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Foundational experience with React or a similar frontend framework

  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and client-server interactions

  • Proven ability to manage projects, tasks, or technical challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience from internships, extracurriculars, academic, or personal projects

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Exposure to Contentful or other CMS platforms

  • Interest in web accessibility, performance, and modern frontend practices

  • Passion for Autodesk and/or desire to learn more about the domain

About the Canada Intern Program

The 2026 Canada Intern Program runs for 16 weeks (May 4 – August 21). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Our internships align with Autodesk’s Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote, and hybrid work preferences.
