Position Overview

We work on hero CAD products Fusion and Inventor. We are extending our team and currently in a search of a Continuous Delivery (CD) senior developer to improve delivery quality and customer experience. The successful candidate will work on large scale of projects with Python and C in cross-platform development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement delivery solutions for cross-platform software components and APIs

• Responsible for the implementation of components for CD, with high emphasis on quality and sound software engineering practices

• Participate in software design reviews, conduct code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team

• Considers relationships, inter-dependencies and integration when estimating and scheduling project tasks

• Provides insights into maintaining and supporting multiple major or critical applications

• Describes the benefits and challenges of prototyping in development process

• Troubleshoot and provide best feasible solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or above degree in Computer Science related fields

• Excellent written and oral English

• 5 years work experience

• Excellent programming and computer science abilities, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills

• Good programing knowledge and practice in Python and C(C,C#)

• Good script programing skills e.g. JavaScript, shell, batch etc

• Be familiar with docker and deployment tools like Kubernetes

• Experience with Windows, Linux (or MacOS) based software development environment

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

• Able to learn large software systems and participate development quickly.

• Be familiar with iOS deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Cross-platform, Python and C coding experience

• Excellent debugging skills in interactive development of Python and C

• Experience in Jenkins pipelines (Groovy scripting, PSL)

• Experience in installer technology e.g. msi, wix or MSIX

• Experience in AI related knowledge

• Experience in cloud-based deployment

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
