Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the protection of sensitive data, securing our information systems, and managing the overall data security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to ingest data from diverse sources
• Design and implement data lakes and data warehouses to manage large-scale datasets and optimize performance
• Develop logical and physical data models ensuring strong data integrity, security, and governance
• Ensure data quality through robust validation, testing, and monitoring frameworks.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
• Enable BI reporting by delivering curated datasets and optimized data models for dashboards and self-service analytics

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• 6-8 year experience with advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and automation scripting
• Strong expertise in Spark-based distributed data processing and streaming systems (Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Expert knowledge of relational and NoSQL database design and performance tuning
• Ownership of CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration, and production monitoring
• Experience supporting BI reporting and analytics platforms, preferably Looker
