Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior DevOps engineer to join our Connected Delivery platform team. This platform is responsible for enabling the discovery, download, and installation of all Autodesk products, services, and third-party applications. You will be accountable for our business-critical tier-one platform's robust infrastructure architecture and high availability

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable systems and infrastructure

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the reliability and performance of applications

• Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of systems and services

• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues

• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

• Respond to incidents after hours or on weekends as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as DevOps Engineer

• Strong programming skills in following languages Python and Shell scripting.

• Experience with AWS and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in Jenkins and Spinnaker

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, ELK etc.)

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience leading cross-team initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in database management, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
