Position Overview

Our mission is to provide timely and accurate payment of Sales Compensation to our global sales team. You will be focused on ensuring accuracy in your work while delivering on your deadlines. You will be comfortable working with multiple challenging deliverables. You will have experience working with Sales teams & Finance providing excellent analytics, knowing that it is important to meet your deadlines with a passion to seek solutions proactively.

The commission team is a global team of highly skilled analysts with wide knowledge of end-to-end commission process for their assigned sales teams. We are Sales commission experts who are a point of contact for questions relating to all commission issues, including compensation plans, calculations, and attainments. Collaborating with finance and sales teams as a sales commission professional Seeking process improvements to apply changes Proactively seeks and implements automation opportunities

Responsibilities

Sales commission

  • Understand and implement The Autodesk Sales Compensation Plan. Able to apply company policy to the administration of the comp plan independently.

  • You will oversee the accurate calculation and submission of variable Commissions earnings ensuring they are aligned with the Sales Compensation Plan.

  • You will give input into and support the roll out of changes to the commissions system.

  • You will manage the monthly analysis of Sales attainment and will investigate and explain variances for high/low result fluctuations ensuring that any outliers are addressed.

  • You will provide high-quality support to the sales teams, meeting their informational and reporting needs to ensure a quick solution is reached while communicating complex logic.

  • You will manage the creation of crediting rules and sales rep target sheets for their specific sales team.

  • You will be responsible for Manual Adjustments for your team and understand SOx requirements for Audit.

Process Improvement

  • You will maintain and suggest/implement opportunities to improve commission tools with reference data, employee information, variant information, and compensation plan information needed to produce accurate commission payments and reports.

  • Lead process improvement/automation initiatives and supports global team projects

  • You will provide guidance to other team members, escalating items when needed to management.

  • Flexibility in your working hours may be required, as infrequent meetings are required with other team members in different Geos and you will support a Sales Team which may be based outside of your region.

  • You demonstrate a customer first approach and be willing to collaborate with sales reps and management (at all levels) to understand and resolve commissions issues, sometimes leading to difficult conversations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Able to apply judgement consistently

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Works autonomously while meeting deadlines, escalating items when needed to management.

  • Ability to multitask and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy

  • Must be flexible in work time, as infrequent meetings are required with other team members in different Geos

  •  Must be customer service oriented, and have a willingness to help sales reps and management understand and resolve commissions issues

  • Applicants should have flexibility, an open mind, and a strong willingness to learn

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience

  • 5 or more years of progressive finance experience; mid-to-large public company, preferably with experience in Sales Commissions, Sales Operations or Finance.

  • Advanced Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions)

  • Power Bi

  • Commissions Platform Experience
