Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Partner Sales Finance team. Reporting to the Partner Sales Finance Director, this role supports the Partner Success and Strategy organization and serves as a trusted advisor to sales and business leaders. The ideal individual brings strong financial acumen, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role requires comfort operating at both strategic and executional levels and close collaboration with Sales, Data, and Finance stakeholders to support informed decision-making and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to evaluate and model the financial impact of new partner strategies and partner types
• Align operational and financial performance by collaborating with Partner Sales Data teams on metrics and insights
• Drive global standardization and continuous improvement of Partner Sales Finance tools, reporting, and processes
• Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and end-of-quarter performance reviews for senior Sales and Finance leadership
• Evolve reporting and analytics capabilities in partnership with the broader Sales Finance organization to meet changing business needs
• Support the design and evolution of channel incentive frameworks in collaboration with channel leadership
• Lead operating expense (Opex) planning and forecasting in partnership with the Spend Analyst team
• Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes and controls, implementing enhancements and escalating issues as needed
• Participate in cross-functional and cross-geography Finance initiatives focused on process and system improvements
• Act as a fiduciary for the company, ensuring integrity, objectivity, and compliance with Finance policies and standards

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus
• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or a finance business partner role, preferably within a software, SaaS, or technology company
• Strong foundation in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
• Demonstrated experience partnering with Sales, Channel, or Go-to-Market organizations
• Proven ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership
• Experience supporting incentive programs, commissions, or channel economics strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels
• High degree of integrity, sound judgment, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with enterprise planning and reporting tools a plus

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
