Position Overview:
As Principal Product Manager for Autodesk Flow Platform, you will lead the development of an advanced SaaS platform for Games, Film, and Entertainment production, blending AI, content creation tools and production tracking and asset management tools. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities in a large product area, forming consensus on strategic direction, and driving clarity, speed, and measured impact.
You will serve developers and Film & Games productions who will rely on the platform to develop new services and AI tools that accelerate content creation. Your scope extends to setting near-term and long-term product direction through frameworks and roadmaps, coordinating workstreams, and encapsulating cross-functional needs.
You will oversee product execution with minimal management involvement, resolve challenges proactively, and drive frameworks for clear decision-making.
This role is available on-site, hybrid, or remote across the United States or Canada.
You will have the responsibility for driving adoption, extensibility, and measurable business impact across multiple Media & Entertainment platform products. Success in this role is defined by platform usage, developer velocity, and the ability to unlock new workflows and services for internal and external customers
Responsibilities:
-

-
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Architecture leads to deliver robust, secure platform services supporting product innovation.
-
Act as the central link between development teams, stakeholders, and customers, fostering shared understanding and alignment.
-
Partner with other product managers to identify opportunities for standardization across internal products and external customers' workflows.
-
Drive data-based decision-making and prioritize across initiatives. Use customer insights, usability studies, and market analysis to shape product direction.
-
Influence and manage stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of key decisions and trade-offs.
-
Balance customer needs short- and long-term benefits to optimize product outcomes.
-
Present complex topics in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner.
-
Lead customer councils, providing strategic direction and curating relevant content.
-
Demonstrate a collaborative approach and foster partnerships across all functions and teams.
-
Begin as an individual contributor, with opportunities to grow into leading a team of Product Managers.
-
Minimum Qualifications
-
5-10 years of Media & Entertainment experience.
-
8-10 years as a product manager releasing SaaS products on leading cloud platforms.
-
Experience in production, ideally as a pipeline TD or pipeline developer, with knowledge of scalable production pipelines and cloud tools for efficient multi-site, multi-user productions.
-
Familiarity with production management, dailies, turnovers and secure media exchange, VFX and Games production data types, editorial workflows, and 3D/2D film and games data pipelines.
-
Experience defining platform APIs, services, or developer-facing capabilities is strongly preferred.
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
-
Experience delivering 0-to-1 products and operating in rapid experimentation mode with customers.
-
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
-
Demonstrated experience working at scale in a matrix environment.
