This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

In this role, you will lead teams in the development and execution of advanced fraud prevention and detection strategies by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, data analytics, and risk management practices to safeguard the organization against fraudulent activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Fraud Detection Systems: Design, implement, and continuously optimize advanced fraud detection systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with business platforms and enabling real-time analytics to proactively identify and prevent fraudulent activity.

  • Data Analysis and Technical Investigations: Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and forensic investigation techniques to analyze transaction data, detect emerging fraud patterns, and conduct in-depth technical investigations, including digital evidence analysis.

  • Risk Management: Develop, execute, and refine fraud risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to effectively mitigate risk and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing fraud prevention team, promoting cross-functional collaboration, technical skill development, and operational excellence.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Perform other duties as assigned, such as driving innovation initiatives, managing vendor relationships, preparing technical reports, and adapting to evolving fraud trends, regulatory changes, or business needs.

Job Contribution: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.
