We are seeking a Data Integration & Cloud Solutions Developer to design and implement scalable data platforms and integrations. In this role, you will build secure APIs, architect cloud-based solutions, and develop data pipelines that enable advanced analytics and business insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions that support our technology-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

API Development

  • Design, implement, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for seamless integration between internal systems and third-party services.
  • Ensure API security, scalability, and performance.
  • Create and maintain clear API documentation.

Cloud Architecture

  • Architect and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalability and resilience.
  • Manage cloud resources, monitor performance, and optimize costs.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.

Data Engineering & Analytics:

  • Build data pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
  • Implement change data capture processes for real-time data updates.

Kafka & Event Streaming:

  • Develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers.
  • Understand Kafka architecture (brokers, topics, partitions, producers, consumers, and Zoo Keeper/KRaft).
  • Work with message serialization formats (Avro, JSON, Protobuf) and schema registry.
  • Troubleshoot issues such as consumer lag, broker failures, and performance bottlenecks.

Integration with Other Systems:

  • Connect Kafka with Spark, Flink, Elasticsearch, relational databases, and other data platforms.
  • Work with Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, and Databricks for data warehousing and analytics.
  • Optimize database performance through stored procedures, dynamic SQL, and tuning.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in back-end or full-stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one back-end language (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing APIs.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Experience with managed Kafka services (Confluent Cloud, Amazon MSK, Azure Event Hubs).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Our Principal Cybersecurity earns between $158,200-$237,400 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
