Job Overview:

As a Medior Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support the transformation of our industry-standard order, delivery, and assurance management systems. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Management, Business Systems, and Operations teams to build and enhance AT&T’s software platforms, working on new features, improvements, and defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
You will contribute to the design and implementation of robust, scalable systems, participate in technical discussions, and support continuous improvement in a collaborative, agile environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications with deep expertise in Python (FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js (Nest) are advantageous.

• Deliver technical solutions across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Apply best practices in software engineering, code quality, testing, and DevOps.

• Utilize AI-driven tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs, RAGs) and stay up to date with new technologies.

• Implement data persistence using SQL and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks).

• Use modern testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress), code review, static analysis (Lint, Prettier, Veracode, Sonar Qube), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform).

• Develop and maintain APIs (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger) and contribute to event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging services).

• Contribute to cloud-native development with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Participate in agile processes (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and team ceremonies.

• Work with team members and stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Day-to-Day

• Hands-on coding, troubleshooting, and implementation across the stack.

• Participating in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Taking part in agile ceremonies, team meetings, and cross-functional projects.

• Learning from and supporting senior engineers.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI); Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js (Nest) are advantageous.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks).

• Exposure to event-driven architecture, Kafka, and messaging services.

• Understanding of API design: REST, Swagger, OpenAPI.

• Experience with automated testing: Playwright, Cypress.

• Familiarity with code quality and security tools: Lint, Prettier, Veracode, Sonar Qube.

• Experience with CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, Terraform) and cloud-native platforms (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).

• Awareness of enterprise platforms: Service Now, Salesforce, TM Forum (highly desirable).

Additional Desirable Experience

• Exposure to AI-driven developer tools.

• Experience participating in system modernization or cloud migration projects.

• Experience working with distributed teams in enterprise environments.

Education:

Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.

Salary

Czech Republic: Salary from 68 000 CZK to 103 000 CZK gross a month gross. The actual salary is based on skills and experience.

Location and Work Environment:

These roles are based in Brno, Czechia. They are hybrid-flex positions requiring presence in the office 2 times per week, with occasional travel between these locations.
