We are seeking a Principal Salesforce Engineer to lead the design and governance of enterprise‑scale Salesforce platforms supporting Communications and complex CRM use cases. This role is responsible for defining solution architecture, development standards, and integration strategy, ensuring that delivery teams build scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.

  • Define and govern custom development standards for Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), including security, performance, and scalability guardrails.

  • Establish reference architectures and design patterns for Salesforce implementations and integrations.

  • Lead architecture and design reviews, ensuring alignment with non‑functional requirements such as performance, reliability, and security.

  • Define integration strategies and system boundaries across upstream and downstream enterprise systems.

  • Partner with product owners, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into executable technical designs.

  • Mentor senior engineers and technical leads; drive consistency and engineering excellence across teams.

What you’ll need:

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience designing and architecting Salesforce solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, security and sharing model, and integration patterns.

  • Proven ability to govern and review Apex and LWC‑based custom development.

  • Experience leading architecture for large‑scale enterprise CRM implementations.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience with Salesforce Omni Studio (Omni Scripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, Flex Cards).

  • Experience with Salesforce Industries CPQ (Vlocity CPQ), Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), or telecom quote‑to‑order flows.

  • Experience with Salesforce industry solutions (e.g., Communications Cloud).

  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Copado, Gearset).

  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer I/II.

  • Education/Experience:
