Intelink Services provide interagency information sharing, content discovery, and collaboration capabilities on the IC system domains to the IC and its partners in Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Law Enforcement.

AT&T has an opening for an Identity Specialist to support Public Sector Solutions.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Identity Management Specialist supports and optimizes identity and access management (IdAM) services and the underlying operating systems they run on. This role focuses on secure, compliant operations (including patching and IAVA compliance), troubleshooting complex authentication/federation issues, and producing clear technical documentation for installations and solutions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed in Laurel, MD.
  • Maintain, upgrade, and secure Windows Server and Red Hat Linux systems supporting identity services, including security patching and IAVA compliance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand application requirements, support application implementations, and perform operating system optimization for identity-related applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues by analyzing logs/data, identifying root-cause, and implementing durable fixes.
  • Support identity/federation service deployments and configurations, including installation, configuration, and validation activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation (runbooks, installation guides, configuration standards, and solution designs) that clearly outlines implementations and operational procedures.
  • Use scripting/programming skills to support automation, integrations, and operational efficiency improvements.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Linux, including:

  • System maintenance and upgrades.
  • Security patching.
  • IAVA compliance activities.
  • Familiarity with scripting and/or programming languages such as Perl, Java, and Python.
  • Ability to interpret and translate application requirements into effective implementations and OS-level tuning/optimization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze technical data to determine and apply appropriate solutions.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality technical documentation detailing technical solutions and application installations.

Desired Skills:

Deep understanding of TLS and related security components, including:

  • TLS protocol behavior and cipher configurations.
  • Client certificate authentication (PKI).
  • OCSP, trust stores, and certificate chain validation.
  • Experience supporting Security Token Service (STS) / federation platforms such as:
  • Ping Federate, Oracle OIF, Keycloak, or Microsoft AD FS.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and/or LDAP, including DIT hierarchical structure design.
  • Working knowledge of IdAM protocols and standards such as SAML and OAuth/OIDC.

Key Traits for Success:

  • Security-minded approach to system administration and identity services.
  • Detail-oriented documentation habits.
  • Comfortable working across teams (app owners, infrastructure, security) to deliver stable identity solutions.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I (SEC+)
