Job overview

You’re the champion who turns market opportunities into real-world solutions. As Lead Product Management and Development, you’ll guide products from initial concept to launch—and beyond—ensuring every detail aligns with customer needs and AT&T’s business objectives. You’ll manage the full product lifecycle, own the business case, and partner across teams to deliver high-quality, high-impact offerings. Your strategic insight and leadership will fuel growth, innovation, and customer value.

You will have the opportunity to be part of critical transformation in our consumer broadband space. You will lead the product planning for broadband transformation initiatives & operational program execution. You will work closely with our Network, Technology, and Marketing organizations to define targeted transformation plans and then execute on those plans.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through development, launch, and retirement—ensuring seamless transitions and continuous product performance.

  • Translate customer and technical requirements into actionable product designs, business cases, and detailed documentation including user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends, customer segments, and opportunities for new products or enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps, service guides, and project plans, driving initiatives that grow revenue and margin.

  • Collaborate closely with business, technology, UX, and 3rd party partners to design or modify products, ensuring exceptional user experiences and cross-functional alignment.

  • Negotiate with vendors to optimize product cost, features, and support, and work with internal teams to develop effective pricing strategies.

What you’ll need

  • Expertise in full product lifecycle management, including budgeting, business case development, and P&L ownership.

  • Knowledge of following technologies & concepts: RAN technologies, deep understanding of cellular networks performance, especially with fixed wireless, Mobility and Broadband product lines, measuring the customer experience across products.

  • Requires skills to identify, monitor and analyze internal (e.g. financials, customer movement) and external (e.g., wireless technology, competitive) performance parameters and take actions based on those insights.

  • Advanced skills in market research, competitive analysis, and translating insights into actionable strategies.

  • Proficiency in crafting technical and customer requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain complex product roadmaps and project plans.

  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across technology, UX, business, and vendor teams.

  • Negotiation skills with a track record of improving cost structure and product support.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, development, or related fields (required).

  • Recognized as an expert in managing complex products and leading strategic initiatives.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Wireless and Wireline working technical knowledge of Network & Care systems & tool

  • Experience mentoring less experienced staff and influencing executive decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.

  • Certification in product management or a related area required in some roles.

Our Lead Product Management & Development earns between$128,400.00-$ $215,800.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
