Asana is looking for a strategic sales professional who holds themselves accountable to a consistent and repeatable process. As a member of our growing Revenue group, you will be instrumental in defining, testing, and growing a sales model that balances bottoms-up scale with top-down positioning and doing so with the largest global customers.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve:

Define account strategies that enable sales velocity in partnership with Sales Engineers, Sales Development Reps, Customer Success Managers, Professional Services, and Exec Sponsors

Sell 6- and 7-figure deals into the world’s leading companies by solving real problems and providing measurable value

Navigate enterprises to map stakeholders, build champions, generate buy-in and close deals with C-Level decision makers

Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity

Mentorship and leadership within the sales organization as a member of the most experienced sales segment at Asana
About you:
-
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with Fortune 500 senior line-of-business and IT executives
-
Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
-
10+ years’ experience as an account executive in both new logo and expansion motions
-
5+ years selling software at the Enterprise level
-
Experience penetrating and managing a book of Named Accounts
-
Desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility

Passionate about the full revenue lifecycle of Asana’s customer base
-
Collaborative mindset; interested in mentoring others and sharing best practices, as well as working in partnership with cross-functional colleagues

Exposure to the Productivity and Collaboration space

Experience selling to Marketing, Sales, Product, HR, Operations, and IT functions
What we’ll offer
Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $145,000 - $165,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
