YOUR ROLE

Manages, directs, and coordinates activities within a department, groups of departments, and support for manufacturing departments. These groups may be unionized or non-unionized and may perform various functions, such as product development, testing, process engineering, and industrial engineering.

In your daily job, you will:

  • Provide assistance in analyzing and solving complex engineering problems
  • Assist in obtaining resources to effectively carry out engineering activities.
  • Productivity improvement
  • New technological strategies
  • Capacity studies
  • Assist in planning departments.
  • Coordinate activities with subordinate supervisors and assistants who determine their work priorities.
  • Supports  ISO50001, ISO45001 and  TISAX  activities
  • Lead automation efforts and projects across the operation
  • Budget Management and business plan process
  • Monitoring of KPI during project ramp up phase (safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery)
  • Responsible for manufacturing inputs towards the business plan ( investment, headcount, plant capacity utilization)
  • Understands Materials and Inventory management concepts
  • Provides technical inputs for commercial project quotations
  • Safety- First Mind Set

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Degree in Engineering ( Electronics, Mechanics, Industrial, or related field)
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Supervisor/Manager of professional-level employees
  • Automotive Industry Experience in electronics manufacturing environment
  • English advanced
  • Quality Systems  Knowledge IATF, VDA6.3.
  • Experience with CAPEX Management, Forecast, budget and accurate execution
  • Proven experience optimizing efficiency, yield and OEE
  • Experience in New Product Introduction ( Launches, Change Management)
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma Tools, 8D, root cause analysis
  • Strong Succession Plan development skills
  • Solid planning and organization skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Teamwork
  • Hands-on and proactive attitude
