Responsibilities
- Facilitation of Scrum Ceremonies - Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned.
- Coaching and Continuous Improvement - Coach teams on Agile principles to improve delivery velocity and foster a culture of continual improvement.
- Removing Impediments - Remove obstacles and shield the team from distractions to ensure smooth progress of work.
- Agile Metrics and Best Practices - Monitor velocity, cycle time, and promote engineering best practices like Definition of Done and CI/CD adoption.
- Planning and Progress Tracking - Create and maintain detailed delivery plans and track progress against milestones effectively.
- Communication and Governance - Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders through structured reporting and meetings.
- Resource and Compliance Management - Plan resources and coordinate vendors while ensuring compliance and audit readiness with proper documentation.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Graduate in BE/B.Tech (Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation, Robotics)
- 5-8 years of experience in Automotive
- 3 years as Scrum Master
- 2-4 years in project or hybrid roles
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban frameworks with proven ability to improve team performance and delivery predictability
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
- Technical literacy for collaboration on coding standards, CI/CD, and infrastructure
- Proficient with tools like Jira, easybi, Polarion to manage boards, workflows, and dashboards effectively
- Certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist, PMP, and PSPO (Awareness)
- Project management expertise
- Scaled Agile experience in scaled Agile settings and knowledge of PI planning and Agile Release Trains
- Domain expertise in Automotive (added advantage)
- Experience managing distributed teams and collaborating globally
