The role is responsible for end‑to‑end ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of GES, Datamart, BOM Tool, PADS, and related PLM ecosystem components. This position ensures data accuracy, system integrity, and effective cross-functional support for Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and other competencies.

• My Role: GES Ownership & Governance

• Own and maintain GES Item Master, EBOM data, and system attributes across competencies (DDS 60).

• Manage pick‑list values, GES screens, business rules, and system reports.

• Support development and evolution of next-generation PLM solutions (PLM 2.0).

• GES Registration & Access Management

• Oversee the GES Registration Site for ID creation and approval workflows.

• Maintain EDTM role assignments and validate access requests across CMII, ECAD, ARA, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and others.

• Troubleshoot stuck or incorrect access requests and ensure appropriate approval routing.

• Datamart Ownership & Reporting

• Own and support GES Datamart, including performance monitoring and trigger validation.

• Define and maintain standard reports (e.g., Part Data Extract, Replaces Reports).

• Validate data completeness and part status updates.

• BOM Tool Management

• Serve as owner and primary support for the BOM Tool, including issue investigation, testing, and improvements.

• Execute structured test scripts (clone, add/delete, quantity changes) and conduct performance testing using example LL EBOMs.

• Drive future enhancements, including EBOM load‑time optimization.

• EBOM Share Point Management

• Publish and maintain EBOM documentation, guides, and training materials on Share Point.

• PADS Administration & Training

• Own and support the PADS Tool, coordinating development and issue resolution with the PADS Developer.

• Provide or coordinate PADS training and manage user access via the PADS Admin site.

• Special Reporting

• Generate and distribute daily, monthly, and FTP‑based operational reports (Model Create, Model Release, CR Date, CN Date, Royalty Reports).

• Coordinate updates to Outlook Distribution Lists through the BOM COE.

• My Background: Required (R)

• MSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology.

• Previous experience with Aptiv engineering tools and processes.

• Previous experience with GES or Teamcenter Enterprise systems.

• Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structure and concepts.

• Very good communication skills.

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction with a proactive, needs‑driven approach; ability to identify and mitigate issues.

• Strong problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

• Effective time‑management skills.

• Preferred (P)

• Previous experience with other PLM systems.

• Basic understanding of IT service and project tools (e.g., Service Now, Jira, Azure DevOps).

• Training delivery or coaching skills.

• Strong analytical skills.
