As an Automation Engineer, you will develop software solutions for our current and future products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated automation frameworks and test infrastructure for validating wireless and PHY systems across RF and baseband domains, enabling comprehensive validation and regression testing throughout the silicon development lifecycle
• Work closely with validation team to translate specifications into automated test strategies, identify validation gaps, and drive resolution of complex system issues
• Work on automation and integration of auto triage tools and consolidated report generation and publications through emails and sharepoints
• Work with AI/ML experts to continuously improve test methodologies to meet the demanding requirements of next-generation wireless systems
• Implement and integrate automated tests into a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure new code changes do not break existing functionality
• Handle and document multiple system configurations across multiple platforms and multiple geographies to ensure consistency and reliability across different environments/projects
• Analyse execution workflows to identify bottlenecks and new opportunities for automation to increase equipment utilisation and reduce costs/time

Minimum Qualifications

• BS and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, with emphasis on FW cellular technologies experience is a plus
• Proven experience developing test automation, including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts and interfaces
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation
• Proficiency in employing AI/ML technologies to optimize workflow efficiency
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
• Proficiency with RF test equipment, including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
• Experience with automation infrastructure development (traceability, repeatability) and related tools (Git, CI/CD, databases, reporting tools)
• A background in generative models, natural language processing, and large language models (LLMs)
