Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple's consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences.
The Global Photography and Content team within Marcom is responsible for overseeing all photography-related marketing and art direction. This team collaborates with every brand category on any photo-related marketing, including Keynotes. They work and partner with The Human Interface team, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Public Relations. The team is under the direct supervision of the Global Creative Director of Photography.

Description:

As the Associate Creative Director (ACD) for Social, this role will be responsible for leading and implementing the creative direction and visual storytelling of a new social platform being introduced by Apple.","responsibilities":"Help to identify and creatively shape the most interesting stories from around Apple into compelling pieces of social editorial

Oversee the creation and curation of all social content, including videos, stories, reels and images

Attending and leading video and photography shoots

Maintain a high standard of quality for all content, including visual aesthetics, and new and engaging storytelling across social formats

Strong understanding of cultural trends and how to implement into the work being created for handle

Work closely with an internal team of producers, strategists and social experts

Ensure all content is on-brand, accurate, and optimized for engagement

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in publishing, journalism, or related fields

Experience in video production and editing

A passion for Apple's products, people, and mission

Sharp perspective on what makes effective and culturally resonant socially-driven creative work

Passion for Instagram, understanding its evolving trends and community dynamics

Collaborative by nature, with experience thriving in fast-paced, newsroom-style team environments

Bachelor's degree in design or visual communication

Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in a senior creative role with a particular emphasis on storytelling for social platforms

Proven track record of overseeing social content creation at the highest possible standard, with a portfolio of successful social media campaigns and content examples

Experience successfully creatively leading a large social media handle, with a focus on Instagram

Exceptional visual storytelling skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,600 and $274,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
