SOFTWARE AND SERVICES:

At Apple, our software engineers are the brains behind some of the industry's biggest breakthroughs. macOS, Siri, Apple Maps, iOS and i Cloud - not to mention the system-level software for i Phone and Apple TV - all started here. These teams are on the front line of our constant charge toward innovation.

MACHINE LEARNING AND AI:

Within Apple's Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organization (AIML), you can take part in the ongoing revolution that machine learning plays in daily life. Apple's fully-integrated hardware and software provide unique opportunities to deliver amazing experiences, all while prioritizing user privacy. We do work in all fields of Machine Learning, including large language models, diffusion models and reinforcement learning, as well as other related areas such as accessibility, privacy, and fairness.

HARDWARE

Hardware Engineering supports electrical & system design and integration of the Apple Vision Pro, i Phone, i Pad, Watch and Mac computers, including assisting in engineering processes that support the design, integration, implementation, testing, and qualification of various electrical sub-systems.

HARDWARE TECHNOLOGY

Our Hardware Technology team is responsible for Apple's breakthrough custom silicon and hardware technologies including battery, applications processors, storage controllers, sensors silicon, display silicon and other chipsets across Apple's entire product line.

PRODUCT DESIGN

Apple products work beautifully because our designers maintain an intense focus on simplicity and usability. They judge the success of their work not by everything they put into it, but by everything the user gets out of it. They work closely with many different multi-functional teams, including Industrial Design, Packaging, Safety, Engineering and perform prototyping and validation activities for all hardware product lines.

OPERATIONS & MANUFACTURING:

Our Operations team ensures that Apple's ground breaking designs become industry-leading products. This high profile, highly respected organization is positioned at the junction of Apple's product teams, the industries that supply core component technologies, and our manufacturing partners who help ensure that products such as i Pad, i Phone, Mac, and Vision Pro can be restocked just as fast as they fly off the shelves.

We are looking for enthusiastic interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the passion and energy to leave their mark by the end of their internship

Resourceful, highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines, and completion of tasks and projects assigned.

Prior internship(s), group or personal project exposure, TA and/or work experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, graduating December 2025 or later.

Available to intern during Summer or Fall 2025 and returning to school after the internship.
