The Global Apple TV Retention team is responsible for creating long-lasting relationships with our customers to reduce churn and maximize lifetime value. We are searching for a manager to join the team and nurture healthy viewing habits to create unique customer experiences for the Apple TV audience.
Description:
We are seeking a proactive, creative, and data-driven Retention Manager to strengthen our team and help us grow the Apple TV business. This person will work cross functionally to develop personalized experiences and create sticky engagement patterns. The manager will be responsible for engaging the Apple TV audience with our content and our products turning customers into fans.
In this role, you will collaborate with teams across the organization to analyze customer behavior, develop strategies to enhance engagement, and orchestrate innovative campaigns designed to boost customer retention. The ideal candidate strikes a balance between strategy and execution. You should be comfortable building long term plans as well as rolling up your sleeves and make things happen.","responsibilities":"
Work closely with our research teams to deep dive into key trends and performance factors to extract actionable insights
Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and foster habitual viewing patterns
Collaborate with the growth and product teams to educate customers about new and existing product features promoting sticky behaviors
Collaborate with the product and content teams to improve content discovery and increase viewing frequency
Monitor competition and cultural trends and ensure customer experience remains relevant
Map the customer lifecycle journey and execute tactics to nudge customer on to healthier consumption paths
Present upcoming plans and communicate results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in interacting with and influencing all levels of management
Ability to work independently and embrace change and ambiguity enthusiastically
Organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with a proactive, "can-do" approach to solving problems and anticipating needs
Collaborative and trusted partner, able to build strong relationships across global teams and all levels of leadership
Brings energy, creativity, and passion for fostering team culture, inclusion, and belonging
Comfortable flexing between strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational needs
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of product marketing, or lifecycle marketing experience
4+ years of DTC subscription experience
Excellent communicator - clear, compelling, and adaptable across written, visual and verbal formats
Ability to juggle multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously.
Experience planning and driving projects with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and creative problem solver who is data-driven, flexible, able to change directions quickly, and understands the nature of a fast-evolving, high-profile business
A love for TV and movies and curiosity and strong interest for the streaming and entertainment industry as a whole

Pay & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
