The BMS team spans across all battery-based Apple products and is looking for engineers with multi-disciplinary technology experience with strong leadership skills.

Description:

The architecture group within the Battery Management System (BMS) organization is a critical and collaborative team that bridges across all cross functional teams to understand product needs to translate them into requirements for the BMS domain teams. The engagement spans across short term objectives for upcoming products as well as collaborating with the entire team to establish and pursue the long term BMS roadmap covering hardware, firmware, and algorithms.","responsibilities":"Work with cross functional team to establish BMS goals and requirements

Enable successful delivery of BMS systems for new Apple products

Lead the definition of next generation of BMS silicon chipsets

Lead the team to develop an architecture decomposition with justified trade-offs between technology options

Tackle challenging trade-offs and analyze comparative options with quantitative value proposition assessments

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
