The Stores Readiness and NPI team within Apple Retail Business Planning and Program Management is responsible for delivering some of the biggest moments in Apple Retail each year. This team sits at the intersection of all Retail teams that support major moments in retail stores, providing the direction and details necessary to deliver the industry leading experience that Apple is known for.

The Retail Readiness Program Manager delivers best in class program management across the entire Retail organization. In this role you will create detailed operational plans and programs to enable broad cross functional teams to deliver excellence across all retail stores for all key moments.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a Plan of Record for key operational initiatives and serve as a key partner for all major moments in Apple Stores
  • Ensure project deliverables are on track and systems are setup for flawless execution
  • Creatively problem solve while weighing implications, tracking critical milestones, and proposing changes
  • Build contingency plans and know when to escalate
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned readiness plans for all global moments
  • Be self driven with high agency to take a proactive role in problem solving and influencing project work-streams from end-to-end
  • Structure ambiguous problems into strategic, actionable plans
  • Drive creation and delivery of compelling presentations
  • Embody excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple strategies, programs, and projects concurrently with deep attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years Project/Program Management experience or equivalent in PMO, Readiness, Strategy, and Operations
  • Excellent program management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings with partners across multiple functions in an organization
  • Experience managing relationships and working cross-functionally across large global organizations
  • Experience program managing broad cross functional projects with high visibility and a retail stores focus. New Product Introduction experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with senior leadership
  • Deep knowledge of retail industry and retail store environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities that drive operational excellence and efficiencies, and driving business growth through strategic insights
  • Experience successfully leading sophisticated programs, long term roadmap creation, and retail focused commercial and seasonal campaigns. Retail Store leadership experience is a plus
  • Proven track record analyzing complex datasets and insights turning numbers into narratives that drive action
  • Demonstrated success leading high-pressure and high-stakes go-to-market initiatives
  • 5+ years retail operational or retail program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
