Write bullet-proof code (thread-safe, performant, object-oriented, and inherently testable)

Work directly with the business team to collaborate on current and future initiatives.

Work directly with the client teams on feature definition and development

Preferred Qualifications:

MS degree with software development experience or equivalent experience

Experience/understanding of security and cryptography

Experience with EMV, tokenization, and payment security standards

Designing and implementing PCI DSS-compliant systems:

Minimum Qualifications:

We want you to have experience with object-oriented analysis and design using languages such as Java or Kotlin.

We are looking for experience in developing scalable and distributed systems.

Experience authoring and supporting web services

Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases:

Experience with Cloud Engineering:

BS degree in computer science or equivalent field, plus 5+ years of software development experience or equivalent experience

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
