About the Role

Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple's consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences.

The Advertising Team oversees Apple's advertising activities worldwide, and is the bridge between Marcom and Apple's advertising agency, Media Arts Lab (MAL) and OPMG (Omnicom's Precision Marketing Group). We partner with many internal groups, including Finance, Legal, Product Marketing, Partner Communications, Interactive, Retail and Education. We also maintain positive relationships with our Apple and MAL international offices. Developing and fostering productive partnerships is an essential requirement of every member of our team.

The Ad Producer role will be responsible for leading the creative development and production process, ensuring accuracy and internal communication for all advertising initiatives. You are a strategic and data-driven marketer with proven experience managing integrated full funnel campaigns, with focus on large-scale social media campaigns and performance marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who understands the rigor of big brand standards but thrives in an agile, results-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative across channels to support integrated efforts across advertising and social, including review and routing of concepts to ensure quality and accuracy from a legal and product perspective, and review and approval of localization strategies and creative with international offices.
  • Lead confidential launch initiatives while working to maintain security and secrecy through the duration of the project. Handle disclosure lists and maintain strict security procedures on set and with vendors.
  • Manage production budgets, and review production estimates to ensure projects are on track and within budget. Partner closely with managers to provide ongoing updates on the status of production to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Communicate with relevant groups throughout Apple to ensure they are kept up to date on the progress of ads, have all necessary materials, and are aligned with the work, as well as the journey after people engage with creative in media.
  • For MAL-originated campaigns, manage the day-to-day relationship with their account team and help see creative through development from briefing to delivery. For Marcom-originated campaigns, partner with internal teams to develop creative from briefing to delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to drive workflows, creative shares and schedules across multiple teams
  • Passion for great work, with ability to inspire and advocate for the best creative work
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with an ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable with ambiguous problems and proactively looks for ways to develop a clear direction
  • Approach projects with a global perspective to ensure creative resonates in international markets
  • Proven ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities and adapting approach accordingly
  • Highly organized with a meticulous attentional to detail and extraordinary follow-through skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization; with a willingness to pivot in pursuit of the strongest creative solution

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Advertising or Creative Agency and/or Brand experience
  • Has experience producing fully integrated campaigns
  • Experience working on global brands with a focus on localization knowledge and launching bespoke creative in international markets
  • Experience working on multi-faceted digital/social campaigns
