About the Role

The i Phone team is looking for experienced, enthusiastic individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to influence the integrity of the i Phone electrical design process throughout the product integration cycle. Using your skills in system modeling and electronics to encapsulate complex systems, you can make a difference in how i Phones are designed.

This is a unique hardware system modeling position that begins at product concept and continues all the way through to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Own the creation and refinement of system electrical models comprising components, behaviors, and interfaces that generate a platform to enable high-value workflows
• Identify and develop use-cases and benefits of these models to build value over time
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and proactively recognize and understand various needs from stakeholders
• Help identify and distribute best practices
• Prepare and present technical content between the working and executive levels
• Be prepared for opportunities for international travel

Minimum Qualifications

• BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years industry experience
• Experienced with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML tools such as Cameo, or similar
• Experience with engineering highly complex and integrated systems

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in Systems Engineering
• High degree of knowledge and comfort in traversing up and down levels of system abstraction
• Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment with a proactive attitude
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software product development processes in order to approach problems flexibly
• Use of scripting languages to assist with hardware development and analysis (Python, OCL and Groovy strongly desired)
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
