Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple's largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. We are seeking a highly strategic and analytical leader to drive the Global Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations organization within Apple Retail. This Senior Manager will hold the holistic vision for our paid performance marketing investment and technical roadmap, with direct responsibility for Paid Search, Affiliate, Marketing Operations, and Martech. The successful candidate will lead a team of seasoned marketers to optimize current channels while aggressively driving expansion into new areas, including AI and social platforms. You will act as a bridge between technical innovation and business growth, shaping the measurement framework and investment strategy to deliver extraordinary results on a global scale.

This role is responsible for the global vision, planning, and technical execution of paid performance marketing programs that drive significant traffic and revenue. This leader will shape the future of our global performance marketing roadmap-advancing our technical infrastructure, accelerating marketing technology innovation, and building a next-generation AI-driven acquisition engine for Apple Retail Online. You will lead a high-performing team of managers and specialists, driving operational excellence while expanding our paid channel mix into new frontiers.","responsibilities":"Global Performance Marketing Strategy: Define and lead the long-term roadmap for global performance marketing programs, managing significant budgets across Paid Search, Affiliate, and emerging channels. Evaluate and integrate new platforms to drive acquisition and revenue, using data to identify trends and technologies that advance global capabilities.
Global Investment Strategy: Oversee a centralized global investment model, providing proactive, holistic management to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all global and regional programs. Redefine investment frameworks and lead change management across regions, partnering closely with Finance and business leadership.
Technical Vision: Provide deep technical expertise and hands-on leadership across marketing operations and the Martech stack. Set the long-term technical vision and drive development of scalable tools, automation, and infrastructure that support evolving performance marketing and AI-driven needs.
Measurement & Analytics: Apply expert analytical and technical skills to shape the global measurement strategy with Data Science and Analytics. Build and refine frameworks for incremental value, channel effectiveness, and ROI, translating complex analyses into actionable insights for executive decision-making.
Executive Communication: Craft and deliver executive-ready narratives that communicate strategy, resource needs, and key decisions across a variety of audiences. Requires expert presentation skills and the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling arguments for senior leaders.
Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Influence: Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers and ICs. Partner strategically with Finance, Commercial Marketing, Creative, and Product/Engineering, using influence and diplomacy to align goals and remove obstacles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
7+ years of senior leadership experience, with a proven track record of developing senior talent and leading large, complex teams at scale
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation and change management efforts, driving adoption of new operating models, processes, and technologies in a complex, fast-paced, global environment
Experience identifying, testing, and scaling new marketing channels or platforms within a global organization, including emerging or AI-driven channels
Strong analytical and strategic judgment, with the ability to synthesize complex data, connect insights across domains, and translate business objectives into investment decisions
Advanced executive influence and storytelling skills, with the ability to align and persuade stakeholders at all levels without direct authority
Minimum Qualifications:
15+ years of global performance marketing experience inclusive of Paid Search (SEM), Paid Social (Meta, Tik Tok), and Affiliate, with deep technical and operational expertise managing cross-channel portfolios at global scale
4+ years of leadership experience managing managers, with demonstrated success scaling teams and capabilities, including expanding headcount, standing up new functions, or growing coverage across geographies and/or channels
Proven ownership of global, cross-channel strategy and investment, including direct accountability for measurement frameworks and marketing technology to drive growth and scalable impact
Demonstrated leadership of AI, automation, and operational transformation initiatives, delivering measurable efficiency gains, streamlined workflows, and improved ROI at scale.
Strong cross-functional partnership with Product, Data Science, and/or Engineering, enabling scalable, data-driven solutions to complex global marketing challenges.
Proven executive-level communication skills, including concise written narratives and effective presentations for senior leadership.

Pay & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $218,100 and $327,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
