Description:
As a Product Marketing Manager at Claris, an Apple company, you will play a critical role in driving product adoption, go-to-market success, and alignment between product, marketing, and sales. You will leverage your market insights, customer understanding, and cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively position our products and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities Customer and User Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey, user personas, and developer pain points. Ensure these insights are reflected in messaging, campaigns, and product development priorities to better address customer needs. Market and Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Provide actionable insights that help differentiate our products and identify opportunities for growth. Foundational Content Creation and Sales Enablement: Empower the go-to-market (GTM) organization with compelling messaging frameworks and clear product value propositions. Create and maintain sales enablement materials, including presentations, datasheets, and FAQs. Product Naming, Pricing and Packaging Insights: Provide input on naming strategy, pricing, packaging, and offers based on market research and customer feedback. Support strategies that drive product adoption and business expansion. Campaign Definition and Success Criteria: Define clear success metrics for product launches and marketing campaigns. Track performance, review results, and optimize tactics to achieve desired business outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Launch Execution: Partner closely with product, Marcom, and sales teams to define and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns and sales outreach. Ensure alignment between product development and go-to-market execution. Product Roadmap Alignment: Collaborate with product and marketing leadership to understand the product roadmap and manage the marketing roadmap accordingly. Articulate the value of incremental product releases while ensuring cohesive platform positioning and effective promotion. Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, to internal and external audiences. Foster alignment across teams through proactive and transparent communication. Adaptability and Agility: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to evolving business needs, and manage ambiguity. Drive progress and deliver results even in the face of changing priorities.

Storytelling and Content Creation: Skilled at overseeing the creation of compelling demos, presentations, and narratives that illustrate technical products and their business outcomes.
Developer Persona Empathy: Understands and empathizes with developer personas, with the ability to attain deep knowledge of Claris's development platform and communicate its value effectively.
Self-Starter and Adaptable: Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous projects, driving results across multiple teams and priorities.
Creativity and Experimentation: Embraces a creative approach to new ideas and is open to experimenting with initiatives that drive growth and engagement.
Trend Awareness and Innovation: Obsesses over emerging technologies and future trends, using these insights to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
Collaborative Relationship Building: Approaches work with curiosity, inclusivity, and a focus on building positive relationships across functions and levels, including product, sales, and leadership teams.
Influence and Trust: Proven ability to influence leaders, gain trust, and foster mutual respect across teams and organizational levels.
Minimum Qualifications:
Product Marketing Experience: 10+ years of success in product marketing, ideally in a multi-product software company, with a track record of effective go-to-market execution.
Strategic Execution in an Agile Environment: Demonstrates the ability to plan and execute marketing strategies within an agile framework, focusing on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.

Pay & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
