The team ensures the availability, high performance, and efficiency of i Cloud services, as well as security and data privacy. i Cloud Services includes Enterprise and Education. Enterprise builds products and services to help organizations of all shapes and sizes do their work using Apple products, while Education delivers great teaching and learning experiences.
Apple is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the development of the next generation of cloud services infrastructure. You'll be working on crucial components of the i Cloud platform and introducing innovative fundamental capabilities. Description:

We work on the client-side of i Cloud services, building the foundations for a secure and private cloud from device to device encrypted storage in the cloud to protected computation. Apple's commitment to privacy runs deep and this team is key to extending this commitment to the cloud.

This position will involve close collaboration with the Cloud Kit team, several teams working on server components as well as Apple's Cryptography and Privacy teams. This job entails both low-level (C/Objective C, libdispatch, POSIX APIs) and system-level skills (synchronization protocols, framework design, IPCs, multi-process performance work, system-wide resource sharing.) Reliability is essential, and we're looking for engineers with a real passion for building complex systems that will seamlessly recover in the event of errors.","responsibilities":"Work with adopters to craft clear APIs

Experience in Swift concurrency:

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Objective-C and/or Swift

Experience building on Apple Platforms (macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc.)

Experience in building system-level frameworks and APIs

Excellent communication

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
