About Apple Vision Pro
Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible - all while staying connected to the people around us.
About the Role
This Vision Pro team is looking for Applications Engineers to help us build the next generation of features for Personas on the Apple Vision Pro. This team works with cutting edge AR/VR technology to create magical experiences for our customers with their most personal and cherished content. As a member of our organization you will assist us in crafting future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people.
Responsibilities
You will work on Personas; a dynamic, natural representation of your face and hand movements that allows others to see you while you're using Apple Vision Pro for Face Time and other videoconferencing apps on the Apple Vision Pro.
You will work closely with Apple's framework teams and Human Interface designers - pushing you to think outside-the-box, and solve incredibly challenging and interesting problems in AR/VR.
You will work with technologies such as Reality Kit, SwiftUI and ARKit. You will have access to a wide variety of internal frameworks and services that will allow you to build technology that is deeply integrated into our operating systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in software development
- Experience building complex applications that are functional, beautiful and delightful
- Experience with App development concepts using frameworks like SwiftUI, UIKit, ARKit, ARCore
- Proven expertise in building and shipping high quality software
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for spatial computing
- Ability to collaborate and work in a highly cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in an application programming language, such as Swift, Objective-C, C/C++, etc.
- Experience in 3D Graphics, Real Time Graphics, or 3D Math is a plus
