Apple's WW Channel Strategy & Operations (CSO) organization focuses on developing and deploying worldwide sales programs and standard methodologies to deliver an extraordinary customer experience in the channel and drive Apple Channel sales. With deep functional expertise in digital, physical, and people enablement spaces, our WW CSO team closely collaborates with many cross-functional groups at world-wide and regional levels. In this role, you will demonstrate your deep expertise in product management and tech platform management to make specific recommendations for new technologies to drive impact across sales, marketing, people, and customer experience within the channel globally. You will partner cross-functionally and multi-directionally with a variety of partners to drive the product lifecycle forward from ideation to development to post-launch improvements. As new technologies emerge, your forward-thinking and influence will revolutionize how our channel teams use data to make decisions, using algorithmic insights and automation/augmentation of decisions with AI/ML technologies.

You'll be the Product Manager for an AI-driven merchandising planning platform that manages merchandising for thousands of doors during new product introductions and throughout the product lifecycle.

Description:

  • Deliver a forecasting application to support new product introductions

  • Use data (traffic, dwell, demo interactions, POS, attach, inventory, fixture constraints) and ML/optimization to recommend merchandising

  • Forecast outcomes, run experiments at scale, and keep a tight loop with merchandising compliance and performance telemetry

  • Define the roadmap and ship APIs/MCP that transform static "one-planogram-for-all" into adaptive, evidence-based assortments

  • Drive towards a shared vision to build scalable, secure, and advanced data and analytics capabilities using AI/ML technologies

  • Conduct market research, evaluate, and recommend AI/ML technology stack and analytics use-cases to drive efficiencies and optimize resources for the sales channel

  • Build a deep understanding of the target audience on the demand side (sales executives, business analysts, leadership, etc.) and on the supply side (engineering, data governance, technology partners, etc.)

  • Manage continuous prioritization of requests for new features and capabilities by partnering closely with multiple cross functional teams around the world

  • Drive the product roadmap for automating and augmenting decision making using advanced models, frameworks, and applications

  • Collaborate with technology partners and internal engineering teams on data architecture, standardization, and execution of the prioritized use-cases

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning for layout selection, demand forecasting, and optimization

Experience with causal inference, uplift modeling for rollout decisions by segment or geography

Familiar with feature stores, model/version tracking, offline/online skew checks, shadow launches, automated retraining & monitoring (drift, performance, guardrails)

Deep understanding of the modern data and analytics technology stack, including Snowflake, Amazon Sage Maker, and Salesforce

Entrepreneurial approach with an ability to navigate ambiguity and focus on what matters most

Strong influencing skills to drive alignment across business, operational, and technical partners

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to simplify complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences

Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and Apple Keynote preferred

MBA preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in product management for enterprise-scale products

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Strong SQL; comfort with Python-based analytics; ability to define metrics (e.g., demo engagement, conversion, attach)

Familiarity with supervised models (forecasting, propensity, uplift), ranking/recommendation, and basics of contextual bandits;

Experience designing and reading experiments at scale (A/B, geo experiments, sequential tests);

Expertise with large-scale e-commerce data and AI/ML platforms

Broad proficiency in product management and design thinking techniques and tools (e.g. vision setting, PRDs, critical metrics, customer journey maps, product roadmaps)

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
