Description:

We are looking for a software engineering manager to lead a team building the next generation of features for Visual Intelligence, including user interfaces, APIs, and core software components. Our work is primarily in Swift / SwiftUI, so prior experience is highly preferred. If you are an outstanding software engineering manager with no Swift experience, we'd still love to hear from you!

• Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience writing software

• 1-5 years of professional experience managing software teams

• At least part of those years writing software for either macOS and iOS using Swift / SwiftUI

• Experience using XCODE and Apple's developer API's

• A background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related plus experience shipping software is ideal. Experience working with ML engineers, designers, and other cross-functional partners a plus. If that's not your background, but you can show a strong track record of software development, curiosity, making, and learning, we'd love to talk to you.

• Preferred Qualifications

• A learning mentality and a willingness to try things that may fail. You should be able to learn from both success and failures.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
