Description:

We are looking for a versatile Engineering Program Manager who can work comfortably within SoC, Platform Architecture, System, and Software domains. The ideal candidate is a leader who is able to garner collaboration across the organization to bring about both planning and execution alignment for new products that originate from our portfolio of So Cs. This is a phenomenal opportunity to apply your breadth of technical expertise and effective program management skills, to influence and drive convergence towards a committed plan to utilize custom SoC and chipsets on future i Phone, i Pad, Watch, and Home products.","responsibilities":"Garner alignment between SoC/Chipset, Product, and SW team leaders on product definition and converge on a robust support plan for executive approval.

Throughout the Product Concept planning process, help identify key program risks and support gaps - and drive a mitigation strategy.

Facilitate key decisions for SoC chipset through trade-off analysis that incorporates technical, schedule, resources, supply-chain, and cost.

In partnership with SoC/System/SW organizations, develop program schedules and guide, rally, and track cohesive support plans for successful execution.

Identify critical path and dependent activities, and track/coordinate efforts across teams.

Drive SoC and Product roadmap alignment in a leadership forum with multiple lines of business.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience and/or knowledge of So Cs with various IP that goes into consumer products.

Ability to distill and summarize high-level trade-off analyses across both technical, commercial, and customer impacts.

Validated technical program management and organizational skills.

Technical breadth to grasp vertical system integration challenges at the intersection of SoC/silicon, system engineering, and software.

Ability to comprehend a breadth of technical topics and be able to decipher program-level risks.

Can work collaboratively and multi-functionally across different functional leadership.

Able to influence others without authority while growing trust across the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in technical field +3 years relevant experience.

Proven SoC and Consumer Product Product planning experience.

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
