The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) Team provides consulting and direction regarding employee relations matters to managers, leaders and employees across our corporate lines of business. Key objectives include legal compliance and adherence to Apple policies is met in a consistent, objective and fair fashion that fosters the Credo. This is accomplished by a deep partnership with the Centers of Excellence's (COE's).

Description:

Apple's Employee Relations Business Partners conduct sophisticated investigations, provide advice and direction regarding employee relations (ER) matters to executives, managers, and employees across the organization. Key objectives include ensuring legal compliance and adherence to Apple policies is met in a consistent, objective and fair fashion. To meet these objectives, Employee Relations Business Partners partner closely with the People partners, management, Employee Relations Leaders, as well as Employment counsel in working sophisticated employee relations cases.","responsibilities":"Handle complex investigations (i.e. advanced, high risk/profile, critical impact, numerous parties)

Advise and inform senior leaders/partners (e.g. the business, People, Legal) in investigating and resolving assigned cases

Address executive escalations as assigned

Conduct sophisticated Decision Reviews:

Maintain accurate case entry practices

Own/participate in ER projects as assigned

Drive ER activity for business initiatives as assigned

Partner with ER Leaders to provide training and mentoring for ER Business Partners

Participate in calibration dialog to ensure consistency of practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven interpersonal skills to negotiate, influence, and resolve issues at all levels in the organization and in collaboration with dynamic partners

Strong time management and prioritizing ability to balance multiple urgent assignments simultaneously

Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of ER experience

7+ years experience leading investigation and resolution of sensitive and complicated employee relations issues

Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment law and regulations

Superb communication skills including effective listening, clear and concise writing and presentation

Consistently exhibits levels of discretion, integrity and confidentiality

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
