We are looking for an experienced Data Pipeline Engineer to support our growing advertising business. In this role, you will work within our Apple Ads Sales Operations team to support and empower the sales analytics organization by leveraging your business knowledge and context to build data pipelines powering internal reporting and tools.

A successful candidate will have deep experience in building data pipelines to support analytics and reporting across a globally distributed sales team. The role requires both a broad knowledge of existing analytical techniques and strong business insight. You'll be working on projects where tools and methods are used to drive real-world business value, using creativity to invent and customize when necessary.","responsibilities":"Use modern tools and technologies to build reliable and performant pipelines for reporting and analytics
Automate and optimize existing analytic workloads by recognizing patterns of data and technology usage - driving the generation of insights from complex data in support of our global sales organization
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their priorities, support the rollout of sales strategies, and build foundational data sets that directly support strategic decision-making
Partner cross-functionally within Apple Ads to ensure proper data quality, availability and governance.
Build and enhance internal business intelligence, data visualization and reporting capabilities.
Support the rollout of sales strategies by building foundational data sets and analyses, incorporating a focus on measuring outcomes and success.
Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced education degree in data science, statistics, economics, computer science or other quantitative field
Experience in Ad Tech or digital advertising:
Strong track record of building data pipelines
Ability to understand and contextualize the needs of key business stakeholders and translate those requirements into scalable data models that support analytics and reporting
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant industry experience using analytics to solve business problems
Fluency with SQL for coding and database querying
Experience with DBT:
BS in data science, statistics, economics, computer science or other quantitative field

Pay & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
