-Implement physical design for SiP packages, including substrate routing, placement, stack-up, and power distribution.
-Optimize package pin-out and bump placement in coordination with chip floorplanning.
-Conduct feasibility studies for size, cost, and performance trade-offs.
-Ensure SI/PI (Signal Integrity/Power Integrity) compliance and extract S-parameters and RLGC models.
-Drive design automation strategies and improve layout productivity.
-Utilize Cadence APD/SiP, Allegro, or Mentor Xpedition tools for layout.
-Develop CAD libraries and symbols; explore new EDA tools and flows.
-Interface with Packaging Group and OSAT for design rule definition and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) checks.
