Associate Analyst, Information Technology

Primary Function:

Provides technical application support to users of manufacturing systems and software applications. Diagnoses and resolves application performance issues to ensure system reliability and availability. Generates and maintains reports and portals that support the achievement of GO&T manufacturing performance metrics

Competency Level:

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-year relevant experience supporting operations in a manufacturing environment; electronics or semiconductor industry experience preferred

Knowledge, skill and abilities

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in at least one DBMS (e.g., Firebird, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) with ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Adequate programming skills for application support and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful and persistent.
  • Demonstrates good customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for cell controllers and manufacturing software applications supporting the Wafer Sort production line, ensuring high system availability and stability.

  • Evaluate, validate, and qualify new software releases to ensure production readiness and compliance.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams across the full software lifecycle, from requirements and development through testing and production deployment.

  • Deliver reliable MES and database administration services to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

  • Ensure software integrity and process alignment through effective planning, technical leadership, and timely issue resolution.

  • Provide technical guidance and coordination to manufacturing IT technicians and engineering coordinators to ensure effective support execution.

  • Comply with and promote adherence to EHS, quality, and environmental policies, supporting audit and compliance requirements.

  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.

Department of Commerce:

  • Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.

Department of State:

  • Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
