Primary Function:
Performs end-to-end software application development for Manufacturing IT systems, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support, ensuring reliable, scalable, and business-aligned solutions that support manufacturing operations
Competency Level:
Educational Background:
- Must be a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
Experience:
- At least two (2) years of solid professional programming experience in web development, MVC framework development, or object‑oriented programming
- Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is an advantage
Knowledge, skill and abilities:
- Hands-on experience with XML and XSLT for data transformation and system integration.
- Working knowledge of SQL using common database platforms (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
- Proficient in at least one .NET / web development technology (VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET) or PHP.
- Experience developing and supporting applications in Windows and UNIX environments.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that integrate and interface various systems and applications with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Provide second-level application support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system and application-related issues escalated by end users or support teams.

Deliver ongoing support for deployed systems, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, system enhancements, consulting, and scheduled preventive maintenance.

Develop and conduct system and application training for trainers and end users, including the preparation of training materials and user documentation.

Ensure full compliance with the company’s environmental management, occupational health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures in all aspects of system development and support activities.

Demonstrate awareness of, and adherence to, the company’s quality management and environmental policies, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
