Primary Function:

Performs end-to-end software application development for Manufacturing IT systems, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support, ensuring reliable, scalable, and business-aligned solutions that support manufacturing operations

Competency Level:

Educational Background:

  • Must be a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.

Experience:

  • At least two (2) years of solid professional programming experience in web development, MVC framework development, or object‑oriented programming
  • Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is an advantage

Knowledge, skill and abilities:

  • Hands-on experience with XML and XSLT for data transformation and system integration.
  • Working knowledge of SQL using common database platforms (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
  • Proficient in at least one .NET / web development technology (VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET) or PHP.
  • Experience developing and supporting applications in Windows and UNIX environments.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that integrate and interface various systems and applications with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

  • Provide second-level application support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system and application-related issues escalated by end users or support teams.

  • Deliver ongoing support for deployed systems, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, system enhancements, consulting, and scheduled preventive maintenance.

  • Develop and conduct system and application training for trainers and end users, including the preparation of training materials and user documentation.

  • Ensure full compliance with the company’s environmental management, occupational health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures in all aspects of system development and support activities.

  • Demonstrate awareness of, and adherence to, the company’s quality management and environmental policies, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.

Department of Commerce:

  • Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.

Department of State:

  • Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
