Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
- Perform detailed failure analysis (FA) on semiconductor devices (ADI’s products) from internal and external customer requests that meet ADI's failure analysis cycle time and quality commitments.
- Perform daily work on the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and FA equipment in aligned cycle time.
- Work closely with FA engineers in collecting and analyzing data.
- Create reports in PowerPoint, MS word, respond to e-mail inquiries when needed.
- Use the FA database system to receive and complete FA cases.
- Responsible for lab equipment for calibration and PM, and stock control of consumable inventories.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Be aware of the company’s quality and environmental policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High Diploma degree in electronics/electrical engineering.
- With >3 years of experience in failure analysis, or relevant work experience as a production/test technician or similar role in a manufacturing preferably electronics assembly and test is preferred.
- Experience using failure analysis laboratory equipment such as low/high optical microscope, solder/desoldering tools, decapsulation, SAM inspection, X-RAY inspection, curve tracer, fault isolation tools (e.g., PEM, OBIRCH), SEM/EDX, cross-section preparation and relevant tools.
- Experience using ATE testers, handlers.
- Can work with chemicals with strict compliance to safety.
- Able to work night and weekend shifts when assigned and work overtime if needed.
- Basic PC skills (MS Windows OS and MS Office) are required.
- Able to communicate in English - interpreting technical documentation, collaborating with global teams, vendors and suppliers is a plus.
