How will you make an impact in this role?

The newly formed Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Control & Compliance, Risk & Control Lead, Enterprise & Digital Platforms and Risk Reduction team, are dedicated to driving effective Operational Risk strategies as the Enterprise undergoes the transformation to strengthen our Risk Management programs, pillars and enablement functions.  This role will focus on ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Digital organization through providing strategic risk advice and best practice. The role will partner with senior leadership across the Enterprise Digital organization and involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

The Manager, Risk & Control Lead Enterprise Digital will report to Director, Risk & Control Lead Enterprise Digital and will:

·         Support with providing strategic risk advice for Enterprise Digital leadership team.

·         Support the compilation of best practices and learnings from historical product and platform launches and change management initiatives, and leverage best practices to inform risk identification throughout the new platform lifecycle

·         Facilitate day-to-day activities to support any mergers / acquisitions from a control environment perspective 

·         Support assessing the needs of Enterprise Digital senior leaders and functional teams to ensure sufficient understanding of Operational Risk Management (ORM) and controls (e.g., annual knowledge assessments and refresher trainings)

·         Manage day-to-day activities required to coordinate with product development and service delivery teams to embed operational risk management considerations into the product lifecycle and service operations ongoing

·         Support facilitation of risk awareness and education within product and service teams to enhance their ability to manage risks effectively

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Strong experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities

·         Strong project management leadership , communication, and interpersonal skills

·         Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards

·         Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively within Enterprise Digital.

·         Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, knowledge and experience of Enterprise Technology Services systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous

·         Experience in at least one of the following:

o   Supporting assessing the needs of business unit leaders to ensure sufficient understanding of Operational Risk Management and controls

o   Supporting compiling and sharing best practices and learnings from historical product launches and change management initiatives

o   Managing day-to-day activities for coordination with product development and service delivery teams to embed operational risk considerations into the product lifecycle and service operations

o   Supporting facilitation of operational risk awareness and education within product and service teams to enhance their ability to manage risks effectively

·         Experience in financial services industry

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
