How will you make an impact in this role?

We are seeking an experienced, self-driven professional to join our project team being responsible for implementation of a Loyalty Platform. As a Solution Architect, you will be the key link between airline-specific application architecture and our airline-specific loyalty platform. You will:

  • Translate business architecture into technical solutions tailored to airline needs.
  • Identify gaps between platform capabilities and customer requirements.
  • Define interface specifications and align with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor developers and foster architectural thinking across the team.
  • Drive solution topics with clarity, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Collaborate in a multicultural environment, including native Japanese colleagues and global teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SaaS integration and interface definition.
  • Solid understanding of Java, JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, Hibernate, and AWS.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex solutions clearly.
  • 10 years of work experience in the relevant field.
  • You are a native level Japanese speaker and fluent in English, enabling seamless communication in international environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain knowledge in Loyalty, Airline, or Banking.

  • Experience in mentoring and supporting developers toward architectural roles.

  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP integrations
