How will you make an impact in this role?

The Partner Operational Project Analyst leads and governs high-impact partner operational initiatives for issuers and acquirers across the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region.

This role holds end-to-end accountability for complex implementations, operational performance, and partner experience outcomes. It operates with regional visibility, contributing to operating model alignment, risk governance, and strategic execution across multiple LAC markets.

The position serves as a key operational advisor within regional forums, ensuring local market execution aligns with global standards while reflecting regional regulatory, commercial, and operational realities.

  • Lead a regional portfolio of complex, multi-market projects and strategic initiatives, owning end-to-end program governance, execution discipline, risk oversight, and delivery outcomes aligned to business and financial objectives.

  • Act as senior operational lead for issuer and acquirer partners across LAC, driving executive governance forums, managing high-impact escalations, and influencing partner and regional leadership through structured, data-driven recommendations.

  • Define and standardize regional implementation frameworks, ensuring alignment with global operating models while driving consistency, scalability, and sustainable execution across markets.

  • Oversee regional operational risk governance, including structured risk assessments, cross-market root cause analysis, escalation of material risks, and enforcement of BOP and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Drive performance analytics and strategic insight generation through consolidated KPI dashboards, financial impact modeling, and executive-ready reporting to support regional prioritization and planning cycles.

  • Strengthen regional capabilities by promoting best practices, mentoring team members, and supporting transformation initiatives that enhance operational resilience, partner experience, and scalable growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese strongly preferred.
  • Significant experience in operational project leadership within complex and regulated environments (payments, banking, financial services).
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-market initiatives.
  • Experience presenting operational insights to senior regional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience building executive-level reporting frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing operational risk in regulated environments.

Ability to influence across functions and geographies without formal authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting issuer and/or acquirer partners within a global payment network.
  • Experience working in regional or global operating governance structures.
  • Deep knowledge of disputes, fraud, authorization, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience contributing to operating model design or transformation initiatives.
  • Formal project management certification (PMP, Agile, or equivalent).
