How will you make an impact in this role?

American Express is seeking a Sr Java Engineer I who will be working on the Payment Crypto solutions team.

• You will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our internal customers.
• You will develop new solutions which will support the key elements protecting our data.
• You will be part of an enthusiastic, high performing technology team developing solutions to provide tools for our internal app teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ Years of software development experience in Java, Multi-threading, Spring framework
• Strong experience writing SQL and using databases like SQL Server, Postgres etc.
• Experience with Junit, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, XLR
• Strong experience creating and communicating with REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience with containerized app development for cloud platforms
• Experience with Agile

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Crypto technologies Tokenization, Symmetric/Asymmetric Keys, PKI
• Experience working with GitHub Copilot or similar other tools.
• Experience with tools like Cucumber based BDD (Behavior driven Development), Sonar Qube

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
