American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Software Engineers to serve as a core member of an engineering team to develop digital and automated solutions for our customers. Develop and design software applications, translating user needs into systems architecture. Assess and validate application performance and integration of component systems and provide process flow diagrams. Test the engineering resilience of software and automation tools. Assess and incorporate user story analysis and elaboration to optimize software solution. Apply visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts. Reengineer systems and code for continuous improvement.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible software design, development, testing, and implementation experience. Experience must include 1 year of experience with Agile application development, AJAX, algorithms, CSS, data structures, DB2, IOC, J2EE, Java, JavaScript, JBoss, JDBC, Jenkins, JMS, JQuery, JSON, JSP, Maven, multithreading, multi-tiered systems, MVC/Web, object-oriented analysis and design, OOPs, Oracle databases, REST APIs, RESTful web development, Servlets, SOA technologies, Spring, SQL, Stash, Struts, SVN, UNIX, Waterfall application development, web design technologies, web services, and XML. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Salary Range: $157,934.00 - $174,750.00
