Establishes and maintains AMD's high-speed IO technological leadership position. THE PERSON:A successful candidate will work with silicon design and verification engineers. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The successful candidate will work with team members and apply current functional verification techniques to perform and improve pre-silicon verification quality and product Time to Market for ASIC/SOC projects. The role will include technical leadership on multiple products or product lines, coaching and mentoring less experienced staff, and influencing others as a strong technical leader. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:The candidate is preferred to have experience in digital ASIC/SOC design verification.  The candidate specializes in MIPI M-PHY, Uni Pro, and UFS specifications. It is a plus if the candidate possesses the following experience/knowledge, such as X86/ARM/8051 architecture, AMBA (AXI/AHB/APB) bus, NAND Flash host controller, PCI-E/PCI bus, low-power design, clock generation and control, etc. The candidate must have:Deep understanding of ASIC/SOC design flow Excellent knowledge of design verification methodology, such as UVM and FPV.Solid experience with simulation model creation and the testbench build Strong RTL coding with Verilog Strong C/C++ software development experiences Be good at scripting languages, such as Perl, C shell, and Makefile.

The candidate is expected to exhibit good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, specialized knowledge plus broad technical knowledge outside his or her area of expertise, driving execution of quality and timely project performance, capability to solve complex, novel, and no-recurring problems, to initiate significant changes and lead development & implementation, and decision-making on most critical technical areas.  ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:Engineering working experiences with Master or Bachelor Degree, major in EE, CS or related LOCATIONS:Hsinchu/Taipei
