You will plan and execute the verification of new So Cs on emulation platforms, enabling firmware and software bring‑up pre‑silicon. Your work will help ensure a high‑quality final design and accelerate ASIC bring‑up.
THE PERSON:
You’re passionate about modern processor architectures, digital design, and verification. You collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams across multiple sites and time zones, bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and take a proactive approach to learning and tackling complex challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support to downstream emulation users
-
Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and firmware teams to define verification requirements
-
Define emulation configurations and develop sanity and bring‑up tests
-
Bring up SoC designs on emulation platforms (e.g., Veloce, Zebu, Palladium or similar)
-
Partner with RTL and firmware teams to debug and resolve issues
Support downstream users of emulation platforms
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong experience in SoC-level ASIC verification and pre-silicon bring-up
- Hands-on experience with emulation platforms (Veloce, Zebu, Palladium or similar)
- Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++
- Experience debugging RTL and firmware using simulation tools
- Working knowledge of System
C and TLM:
- Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Tcl, Perl, shell, Makefile)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams
- Leadership or mentorship experience is a plus
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
