This role is a key strategic position for the AMD Server team within the Datacenter and Embedded Solutions Group. This individual will be responsible to drive the operational execution of pricing decisions on new and existing products, requiring detailed analysis of P&L impacts to the business. Beyond the operational execution, a successful candidate will also have experience identifying and implementing business process improvements to drive improved operational efficiency.

If you’re a proactive problem solver with strong business acumen, Analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels this position is for you. You love diving into data, understanding what drives performance and pricing. You also have a customer-first mindset and a passion for making systems and teams work smarter together.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluation of requested pricing from Sales team against business unit financial goals and pricing strategies
  • Execution of pricing requests from submission through final approval utilizing
  • Partnership with Sales and Finance organizations to accurately evaluate impact of pricing decision
  • Translate pricing decisions into clear operational actions driving communication and working cross functionally to operationalize
  • Quarterly reporting on pricing metrics

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Working knowledge of Model N and SFDC a must
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to manage through influence
  • Strong leadership and analytical abilities
  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present across multiple organizations

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor’s degree required with a master’s degree preferred.
LOCATION: Austin, Texas
